Philosophy
I enjoy food.
I have discovered that I can make most things better than I can buy, or rather afford to buy. I am well aware there are levels far above anything I'm going to do. On most things I can simply watch my wife do it, but she isn't much interested in making sausage, canning jam, producing pickles, baking bread. She is quite willing, however, to make use of what I can produce.
I won't give you a recipe, although I will try without fail to tell you where to find it. If I actually do produce something that I feel is enough mine that I don't have to worry about Intellectual Property, well then it will be here or on the mother ship www.charcuteire.com . You should be able to e-mail me there soon.
You may have seen me post on various blogs and BBs as either ntsc or less likely cea608b, both are things which mean something to the professional television engineer, which is what I do to buy pork butt. I'm good enough there that my employer has won a technical Emmy for my work. I've been in communications, mostly radio and television broadcasting, since age 16. I'm a lot older now.
I read, a lot and in lots of areas. So you may get book reports, remember I are an engineer not an English major, it is enough that I can speak semi-grammatically and remember to use the spell check, sometimes. Commenting on grammar, English usage and spelling will receive all the attention it deserves.
If you have comments, make them. It's my bat and ball, and if you annoy me enough I'll delete them, and if needed blacklist you.
I am not interested in diatribes on fois gras, Veganism or alternative medicine.
I'm interested in food, musical theater, classical music, books and have a wife and three cats. I'm a pretty good carpenter and my sets look fine from the third row.

Art of the Pig. I love it!

Welcome to blogland! How the heck did you score this domain name?
And thanks for the link, too.

I went to GoDaddy, which is who I use and it was available. The biggest problem is the first time I registered, I spelled it wrong and now have carcuteire.com as well.
They are $10/year for a .com which includes a blog, e-mail and five page website.
