Well I was going to post on the New York Section IEEE Awards Dinner Dance, however few of my photos came out and the food was pretty bad. We paid the Hilton $120 a plate too, I'm pushing to find a different hotel next year, we are talking over 300 people.

The good news was that the Section Secretary was at our table and sitting next to us, she is a petite Indian girl with hair long enough to sit on (and a boyfriend who makes The Refrigerator look small) and is responsible for all the electrical substations on Manhattan north of 42nd St.

And the Woman Engineer of the year, a professor of Electrical Engineering at West Point, was wearing a superficially modest dress. Why do I think she has perfect attendance?
