More Meet the Meat
We will get back to the 'Re-arrange the Kitchen Cabinets' which has now moved into a second room.

I may as well admit it, it was just sitting in the rack on Thursday when I went to get a pork loin, marked down $2/lb.
And what is good once, is good a half dozen times.
Three bone in, three boneless steaks. Although what I'm planning on grilling Friday, Weekly menu will probably be a fresh Costco T-bone.

A nice 3 rib roast.
I couldn't help but bring it home.

But, that isn't going to end up as a roast, I've plans.

What a find...it's beautiful...I'm free for dinner all next week.

Am I weird for freezing the meat before using the Foodsaver? I freeze stuff on a sheet tray lined with waxed paper. I find this avoids the shrinkage you can get with unfrozen meats.

I haven't tried the mushroom ketchup yet, it would get filled with paint dust. Maybe next month.
Never thought about freezing and then the food saver.

Wow! I though I was doing great when I found Choice Tri-tip at $2.99 lb. Ooh yeah, I bought a bunch and am now known as 'the lady that loves meat' at that market.

I buy so little red meat it fascinates me to see how you broke down that roast into such beautiful steaks. It's going to be a good week, I bet.

I'm pretty much a carnivore, but my wife http://menu/vldyson.com does have me eating fish once a week. We will also do poultry twice a week or so.
At one time I would have eaten one of those by myself, but they will each feed both of us and the larger ones may well comeback as steak salad as well.
